raison d'etre

Mountain Bikes. I love riding them. I love working on them. I love writing about them. I love them with lots of gears and full suspension. I love them single speeded with rigid forks. I love the ugly ones. I love the pretty ones. I especially love all the ones with character and a story behind them.

I want to write about mine; I want to write about yours.

In one of my day jobs, I've created some 250+ pieces of content (and counting!) for the audience of global mountain bike site NSMB.com and MEATengines is an addendum to those works. It's focussed on niche content I want to create and it's a great bonus if it's enjoyable to you.

What kind of content can you expect to read on MEATengines? Oh sure, there'll be a healthy dose of rigid bikes & single speeds, super-local interviews with people I enjoy, industry news, stories, a little BITD, maybe some poetry, and whatever else comes up. If it comes from my local world of mountain bicycles it's fair game.
