
The Clairebarian and I have been singing this variation of ‘The Wheels On The Bus’ at bedtime for years. Tonight she sweetly insisted on singing it to me. Ahhhh. At some point during the song, I fell fast asleep. Is it that powerful a tool? Am I just that tired? Who knows. Either way, I was then unceremoniously awakened by being smoked in the face with a doudou (stuffed animal) for the high crime of “were you sleeping!? Why didn’t you answer me, Papa?!”
