I really like CamelBak Podium water bottles. The lids are easy to clean and the volume of water per squirt is the best, so for folks like me that are often too busy bullshitting on a ride to remember to drink, it helps with keeping hydrated. There are plenty of good bottle options out there, and if you prefer a different one I’m not mad at you, but these are great.
For people who don’t like the taste of dirt or ride places where the dirt contains a one-way ticket to Beaver-Fever town, CamelBak also sells a handy rubber mud cap for way too much money. I’ll note here, the said cap is n-o-t (NOT) included with these bottles. But if you need your local shop can sell you one.
Right, so, MEATengines water bottles. Cy was kind enough to make a logo for me and I felt I should put that logo onto something. There will possibly be sticker packs in the future, but for now, when it comes to MEATengines things-and-stuff, there’s exactly one minimum run of 0.62L (21oz), clear, Podium bottles available for sale.
I’m selling them for $23 (in Canuck bucks) which covers my costs plus a $5 per bottle donation to Harvest Project, a local organization that provides grocery support, an emergency food program, a rent bank, and many other services.

I don’t know what demand will be like, but if I do run over then sales are on a first-e-mailed / first-served basis and there’s no backorder list because these are them. I’m going to jump over to bullets for a second since I’ve not even posted this yet and I already have some FAQs (fortunately asked questions):
- Preferred payment method is Paypal. In Canada I can also take e-transfer or for folks who prefer cash is an option (though cash means coordinating to grab the bottles from me directly).
- Yes, I am willing to ship bottles at the purchaser’s expense. I’d ask that the minimum quantity for shipping is 2x. I’ll also note that shipping 6x bottles is the same cost as 2x, so if you live near another MEATengines reader we can hopefully coordinate to make it more reasonable. Global shipping seems to be getting exponentially more expensive, sorry.
- Pick-up is available for North Vancouver adjacent folks. My friends Jac & Nice Guy Geoff at Essential Cycles have graciously offered, so once bottles are paid for I can drop them off the next day for pick-up anytime during Essential business hours.
- Any other questions – just send me an e-mail. I mean, I don’t have – and won’t have – an online store, so you’re going to have to send me an e-mail to order anyway.
