We’re starting off April with a special edition of A.a.S.S. You see, Zachary submitted his first haiku entry back when I tried to launch this feature a few years ago. We traded some e-mails about his rad bike, and then I never posted it. Ah, yes, side projects. So today’s entry contains ‘vintage’ MEATengines content as well as a current submission. And, Zachary included some beautiful photos to boot.

Just a reminder if you’d like to participate in About a Single Speed, it’s easy:

You write a Haiku

Submit it with a photo

Then, I say thank you

Zachary on the Esker Japhy:

Always curious

Free cog and no excuses

A new consciousness

To hike, or pedal

Japhy simply breathes mountains

Single for the soul
